So…after a few month of Alias Studiotools practices, time as come to see how I behave aproachingĀ a car modeling (Here’ are the links to get the blueprints). I won’t browse the problems I encountered during this exercise, the the list could be endless. However I think the Audi TT was a good car choice for a first automotive modeling : It’s shape is clearly ‘readable’ and there is not many ‘tricky’ parts (…and that has for ending point… the modeling a legendary car!)
The renderings are done with imagestudio (A first experience to me to) .
Here is the modeling itself. Sure there is a lot to say about it. I’ll be happy to hear about it

Love your site, been looking for alias tuts for a while now, recently picked up autodesk designstudio 2008 student. Great work on the audi, you\’ve inspired me to try finish mine or remodel it.
Thanks a lot Devere!
Good luck…And don’t hesitate to show us your model ;)
Is there any chance for us to see some tutorial how U made it?
@ Wojciech
I’m not posting link the .wire files because as I clearly let understand, it’s a first time ever modeling for me. The exercise here is to find the path between 2D blueprints and 3D (broken link updated: I don’t think these files can be helpful, there is a lot of aproximations & errors.
